BEFORE CHECKOUT
Three things
must match.
Check the Minecraft version, mod loader and required mods in your pack’s instructions. Fabric mods and NeoForge mods are not interchangeable. Classic Forge, other versions and heavy packs need a custom setup review.
Village Modded provides 6 GB; Kingdom Modded provides 8 GB. CPU, storage, world generation and pack size matter too. There is no fixed modded player-count guarantee.
1. Choose Modded and your loader
In your hosting account choose Fabric or NeoForge, then an eligible package. Your order saves the exact engine and version before payment. Fabric uses loader 0.20.1; NeoForge uses 21.1.264, both with Minecraft 1.21.1.
2. Open your installed server
After confirmed payment, follow the installation status. Open the server panel, review the Minecraft EULA and accept it if you agree. Start once to create the files, then stop the server before adding mods.
3. Add compatible server mods
Upload trusted server-side or universal mod JARs and their required dependencies to the mods folder using Files or your server’s SFTP settings. Do not upload client-only mods. Follow the pack author’s instructions for config and other server files. Never replace the supplied loader with an unrelated installer.
4. Start and check the console
Look for successful startup and resolve missing dependencies or version errors before inviting players. If it fails, stop, remove the most recent incompatible file and check the mod author’s documentation. Create a backup before later changes.
5. Invite your players safely
Add approved Java usernames with the console command “whitelist add PlayerName”. Players use the address shown in their server panel and match Minecraft 1.21.1, the chosen loader and all client-required mods. Verified Minecraft account authentication stays enabled.
Playing from Bedrock or a console?
Choose Paper cross-play for supported Bedrock access. Fabric and NeoForge packs that require Java client mods are not a console or Bedrock solution. Console connection helpers may be needed even with Paper.
Changing an existing world
Do not switch engines or downgrade a world without a separate backup and compatibility check. Removing world-generation or content mods can damage saves. Contact support with the pack name, version and error message; never share passwords.
