A practical route from your first account to looking after your world. Choose the task you need and follow the steps.
01
From account to ready.
Create your hosting account.
Choose Create account and enter your details. ZEISMO Play has its own sign-in, separate from the main ZEISMO business portal.
Verify your email.
Open the verification email and follow its link. If it has not arrived, check your spam folder and confirm that the address is correct before requesting another.
Choose an available hosting package.
Review the game edition, resources and recurring monthly price. Capacity is checked before checkout.
Review and pay.
Read the hosting terms and confirm that you want the service to start after payment. Complete payment on Stripe’s checkout page.
Wait for installation.
Payment confirmation triggers server preparation. Keep the order page open or return to your account. If the status needs attention, contact support with your order reference.
02
Make your first connection.
Open your server.
Sign in to your hosting panel and open the ready server. Check that it is running.
Use the correct game edition.
Campfire uses Minecraft Java Edition. Open a compatible Java client and choose Multiplayer, then Add Server.
Enter your assigned address.
Copy the address and port shown for your server. Give it a name in your game, save and connect. Your rented server address is different from the ZEISMO community address.
Invite your group.
Share the connection address with your players. Consider an allowlist for a private world and give operator permissions only to people you trust.
Your panel brings power controls, console output and files together. Make one change at a time so you can identify the cause if something stops working.
Stop the server before replacing world files.
Take a backup before a plugin, version or configuration change.
Download software only from sources you trust and check its compatibility.
Keep your server within its memory and storage allocation.
Never share your account password or verification links with players.
A server restart can interrupt active players. Let your group know before restarting or restoring the world.
04
Keep a way back.
Campfire includes three customer backup slots. Back up before major builds, world imports and plugin changes, and keep a downloaded copy somewhere you control.
Create a recovery point.
Open your server’s backup controls, create a backup and wait for it to finish. Give it a name you will recognise.
Manage your slots.
Check that a new backup is complete before removing an older one. Three slots do not mean unlimited history or unlimited storage.
Restore deliberately.
A restore replaces current data with the chosen snapshot. Stop the server and preserve anything new you need before continuing. Start the server after recovery and check the world.
If you are unsure which backup to restore, pause and contact support. A restore can overwrite newer progress.
05
Stay in control of renewal.
Open your hosting account to review the subscription and manage future renewal. Cancellation normally leaves service active until the end of the paid period. For a first-subscription refund request or immediate service closure, contact support.
Download your world before leaving the service. The terms explain retention after suspension and when operator-reviewed deletion may occur.
Send your order reference or server name, the action you tried, the approximate time and the exact error. A screenshot can help. Remove secrets before sending logs or images.
Never email passwords, card details, authentication codes or account recovery links.
Choose your engine before checkout. Paper cross-play uses the assigned address and port for Java and supported Bedrock. Vanilla, Fabric and NeoForge are separate Java setups. Every new server starts with a private allowlist; follow your order instructions and accept the Minecraft EULA before first startup.
Bedrock players do not need Java Edition when using Paper cross-play. PS5, Xbox and Switch may need a connection helper. Fabric and NeoForge clients must match the server and required mods. Other versions and protected unverified-Java access require review; do not disable authentication on a live world.
