After confirmed payment, the panel installs the dedicated server. Installation and the first map generation take time. Wait for the console readiness message before connecting. Contact support if installation fails; do not place another order.
Join your server
Copy your assigned game address and port. In PC Rust, press F1 and enter client.connect ADDRESS:PORT. The query port is separate and used for discovery. Do not use the Minecraft community address.
Use the server controls
Use Console for Start, Stop and Restart. Wait until offline before importing or restoring data. The initial profile is vanilla, with a procedural map up to 3000 and a 20-player configuration cap. This is not a measured concurrency guarantee. Mods/custom maps are outside this initial profile.
Protect your saved world
World/player data are under server/rust. Create and download a completed backup before changing files. Restoring replaces progress. Keep a separate copy of newer data. Three retained panel backup slots are planned.
Plan game updates
Rust releases may require an update or map wipe. Back up first, stop, and follow the supported update procedure with support. Check client/server versions. An update does not guarantee old map compatibility.
Keep remote controls private
RCON is internal to the container, not publicly exposed. Keep its password private. Rust+ companion pairing is not included initially.
Share access responsibly
Give collaborators limited panel permissions rather than your account password. Export your world before cancelling; published retention terms apply.
